Which Apartment Community is Right for You

You can spend all of your waking hours looking at an online apartment finder in Gainesville, FL, but how do you know which of these places is REALLY right for you?  How do you narrow down the near-endless array of Gainesville apartments and wind up with a community that's a perfect match?

Just ask yourself these 4 questions:

1.  "How much space do I need?"

You'll need to factor in more than just the size of the bedrooms in each Gainesville apartment.  You'll also need to look at the size of the storage areas, the size of the kitchen (so that you don't have to eat ALL of your meals out), and the size of the apartment community itself.

If, for example, you want a quiet place to live, you may want to check out a smaller community.  Or, if you're looking for an easy way to make new friends, you may want to live in a giant apartment complex.  That way, you're bound to run into someone that you have something in common with!

In the end, you may discover that a house is better for your needs.  Luckily, a good apartment finder will have plenty of townhomes and single-family homes listed for rent, too!

2.  "What kind of amenities do I need?"

The apartments for rent in Gainesville offer something for everyone!  If you want an apartment that looks luxurious, find a complex that brags about its cathedral ceilings and granite countertops.  Or, if you want to have a fun place to entertain friends, look for an apartment complex that has pool tables, games, and giant TV's in its clubhouse.  Or, if you want to get in great shape, look for an apartment that's got a large fitness center.

Yes, you'll likely have to pay a little more for an apartment that comes with a ton of amenities.  However, the right ones can turn your Gainesville apartment into "home".

3.  "Who do I want to have as neighbors?"

Believe it or not, there are actually people who live here that aren't college students!  If you don’t want to feel like you're living in a constant frat party, look for a Gainesville apartment community that's a little further from the University of Florida.  Or, if you're a graduate student who wants to be among people your own age -- instead of a bunch of 18 year-olds -- look for an apartment complex that caters to a slightly older crowd.

4.  "How tight is my budget?"

The best thing about using an apartment finder in Gainesville, FL, is that there are a ton of communities that cater to teeny-tiny student budgets!  So, if you don't have a ton of money to spend on rent, you can still live in a great place.  Just be on the lookout for things like "utilities included" or lease terms that allow you to pay by the bedroom.
